It has always been very important to us at Ananya that the business be run in a way that is sustainable, ethical, and that gives back to society. Since day one, Founder and Creative Director Vaishali has donated 10% of profits to charity, and will continue to do so. An advisor and trustee for a number of charities around the world, Vaishali endeavours to find new ways to get involved.

The sustainability and ecological impact of our work is very important to us and, as a business revolving around paper, we do take our responsibility to the planet very seriously. We use cardstock from sustainably managed forests and recycled card where possible.

For every wedding and event stationery order placed, we will plant trees on your behalf, so we can support reforestation and environmental conservation projects across India and reduce our carbon footprint. For this reason, we launched our ‘Plant Grow Sustain’ initiative.

PROTECTING THE PLANET WITH OUR ECO-FRIENDLY WEDDING INVITATIONS

We have partnered with SankalpTaru, the first technology enabled non-profit organisation that plants trees in India, while also supporting rural livelihood, empowering women, promoting bio-diversity and making schools cleaner and greener.

One of the projects Ananya is supporting, with its own ‘Ananya forest', is in the Himalayas. We have helped contribute to an organisation who have planted over 1 million trees, for a healthier planet. Nature has blessed the Himalayas, considered sacred in many religions, with heavenly beauty. However, this Himalayan region has been greatly affected by landslides and floods, leaving nothing but destruction and devastation in their wake.
